Terri has been a councillor for Crouch Ward since 2002 and is currently Cabinet Member for Communities. She also sits on the Planning Committee.
She is also a Basildon Council representative on the Basildon Community Transport Service, Basildon Side By Side, the Youth Strategy Group for Basildon, the Local Councils' Liaison Group and the Patient and Community Reference Group for the Basildon and Brentwood Clinical Commissioning Group.
Terri lives in Noak Bridge with her husband and is retired. She also serves as the Chairman of Noak Bridge Parish Council. Previously, she was also a county councillor for the Laindon Park & Fryerns Division from 2009 to 2014.

The Crouch councillors hold a residents' surgery on the first Saturday of the month between 9:30am and 10:30am at Noak Bridge Village Hall, Coppice Lane, and the third Saturday of the month between 9:00am and 10:00am at Steepleview Hall, Willowfield (off Osier Drive).
Her ward colleague is Cllr Stuart Allen.
Crouch falls within the Wickford Crouch Division of Essex County Council. Terri works closely alongside the local county councillors, Tony Ball and Malcolm Buckley, on county issues such as highways.
