Jeff has been a borough councillor for Laindon Park Ward since 2018 and a county councillor for the Laindon Park & Fryerns Division since 2017. As a borough councillor, Jeff sits on the Housing and Communities Committee and the Housing Development Sub-committee. He also sits on the Town Centre Revival Committee. Jeff is the Conservative Spokesman for Housing and Communities. At Essex County Council, he is also a Deputy Cabinet Member for Performance, Business, Planning and Partnerships and sits on the Essex Countywide Traveller Unit Joint Committee.
