Chris was elected as a councillor for Langdon Hills Ward in 2021. He has lived in Langdon Hills for 23 years and has been active in the local community from an early age. Activities include having spent his school-leaving summer holidays as a teaching assistant at Lincewood School; helping with his local martial arts instructor's karate classes demonstrating, teaching, helping to make commercial instructional videos and writing some articles. He is a chartered accountant and is a trustee of the Essex Beekeepers' Association.
