Saturday, 13 March, 2021
Langdon Hills Recreational Ground to receive £150 investment funding.

It was announced in the Conservatives Alternative Budget for 2021/22 that there would be substantial investment for the Langdon Hills Recreational Ground adding £30K on to the Administration's £120K for park improvements.

Langdon Hills candidate, Charlie Sansom, said, "This is such good news for the area as I truly believe that when the lockdown is over the local community will greatly appreciate being outside again enjoying open spaces."

"I went to the Basildon Conservative Group and made the case for mental health and said that it was going to vital to the bounce-back of the community to have somewhere to go that was being looked after for when covid is over."

"Not only that, but as a father I know first hand how important it is for our children to get their lives back and play with their friends again."

Stuart Sullivan, Financial Spokesman for the Group said "this investment was guaranteed should the Conservatives take administration in May."

Supported by fellow Langdon Hills candidate, Chris Allen, Charlie Sansom is now pushing for public engagement on what residents would like to see happen inside the Langdon Hills Recreational Ground and can be contacted at: charlie@btconservatives.com

Vote Conservative on May 6th 2021.
